I am passionate about providing first-class bookkeeping and cash flow management. I use easily understood terms to help people understand the finances of their businesses.

I really enjoy bookkeeping and like to have regular contact with my clients to make sure that my services match up with their current needs. I particularly enjoy training people to do their own DIY bookkeeping or a tailor-made service that shares the tasks in the most efficient, accurate, and cost-effective way. I'm hot on compliance and hold a certificate of registration with HMRC to comply with current legislation as it's my job to make sure that you don't inadvertently break any rules.
The majority of my work is doing regular monthly or weekly bookkeeping, VAT returns etc., and providing an annual review and full handover to your Accountant. I also can be tempted to take on repair work if you have made a mess-up of your accounts.... there is something satisfying about making sense and order out of a big jumble ( to me anyway!)
Qualifications include AAT and OTR Bookkeeping Level 2; ECDL; Degree in Zoology from the University of Nottingham, Pure Maths A level and I am a QuickBooks pro-Platinum Adviser

I love travelling and will sometimes do your bookkeeping from a beautiful Greek island or La Gomera. I support independent local businesses and shops whenever I can, never touch highly processed, fast food, eat organic and grow 90% of my own veggies, summer fruits and flowers. I enjoy running, dance, yoga, swimming in the sea in the winter and summer, and reading modern fiction. Favourite tea is Darjeeling.

Keevil Accounts QuickBooks Online Offer Summer 2024

The optimum time to set up new accountancy software is at the start of your financial year. I provide QuickBooks Online software packages (having bought a bundle at discounted wholesale prices). HMRC are now implementing stricter rules regarding submission of VAT returns which must now be submitted using MTD (making Tax Digital) compliant software. This rule includes the first VAT return which may cause a problem for new or newly VAT registered businesses – as it is not all that straightforward to capture all historic dated purchases to reclaim allowable input tax. I am offering 4 levels of subscription from software only to software plus support and set up.

Software only

I have a limited number of packages for sale for a one-off 5-year subscription at £600.00 paid up-front for QuickBooks (QB) Essentials (these are selling fast!). QB retail price at current prices is £1392.00 incl. VAT. My usual rate for monthly subscription at current prices would amount to £870.00 subject to any increases from QB. From year six the cost would be at my normal monthly rate, currently £15.00
Alternatively, I can supply a package for a monthly subscription of 15.00 (plus 50% off for months 1-4). (QB retail price 24.00 incl VAT per month)

Software + Setup & Training

Software subscription plus basic set-up and 2-3 hrs training £250.00 (excludes historic brought forward sales/purchase ledger details)

Software + Setup & Training + Reports & Reviews

Software subscription plus full set-up including brought forward purchase and sales ledgers, 3-4 hrs training, Quarterly review prior to your first VAT return and bespoke reporting. £650.00 plus 20% of the value of back-captured VAT input tax

It's a good time to go through reports and profit and loss comparisons. About 30-40 minutes per month usually is enough, plus I am at the end of the phone/email for quick Qu's as we go along.
